Born and bred in the lively musical scene of Boston, Massachusetts, John Aruda's journey into the world of jazz and blues began at a young age. Immersed in the vibrant culture of Somerville and Boston, he found himself frequenting iconic spots like the Willow Jazz Club, Regattabar, Wallys and Johnny D's, where the sounds of jazz and blues would shape his musical soul.
As he grew, so did his love for the saxophone. Over the years, Aruda developed a sound deeply rooted in the traditions of jazz and blues, crafting melodies that echoed the heart and soul of the music he adored. His dedication to his craft was unwavering, leading him to play nonstop and immersed himself in the Boston music scene, setting a tradition that would see him gracing stages across the globe.
John's talent and passion have not gone unnoticed. He has shared the stage with some of the greatest acts of our time, including luminaries like Toni Lynn Washington, Susan Tedeschi, Alice Cooper, Chad Smith, Julian Lennon, Will Lee, and Ace Frehley, among many others.
